Sultan Studio Apartment

Sultan Studio Apartment is a prestigious antique Lamu house located in the heart of Lamu Island. It is over 100 years old and was sold and renovated six years ago. Officially opened as hotel in 2004, it is the ideal place for families, comprising four rooms and two duplex penthouses.

Each room is personally designed and authentically styled with Swahili furnishings. The rooms feature large bathrooms and well-stocked minibars, and guests can enjoy our breakfasts or order room service from the Palace Restaurant.

Founded in the seventh century, Lamu still reflects the image of an old Arab dhow port. Swahili culture has deep roots in Lamu and its evidence can be seen everywhere. The island is inviting for sunbathing and relaxing, and also provides opportunities for other sports and leisure activities, as well as tour and excursions.
