Shooting Star Lodge

Shooting Star Lodge is beautifully located at the northern end of Kiwengwa Beach, well away from other resorts. This is a perfect destination for guests looking for peace, tranquillity and relaxation.

Our choice of accommodation includes comfortable villas with private pools, cottages with verandas overlooking the ocean, as well as comfortable lodge rooms with terraces opening onto the garden. Accommodation is built to an extremely high standard in traditional Zanzibari style, with white lime-washed walls, high beamed ceilings and large windows.

Our Villas and Sea View Cottages all contain beautiful hand-carved Zanzibari beds, draped with tailored mosquito nets. All rooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans to complement Kiwengwa's cool sea breezes.

As a boutique hotel, we are proud to offer you our unique and personal service. Our aim is to introduce all the flavours of Africa by using local and home-made products at our lodge.
