RITA'S GUESTHOUSE REVIEWS (33 %) Shocking! This does not even deserve 1 star! SNQA - Merissa by Shelley Maritz, South Africa 27 August 2012 I stayed at this so called 3 Star accommodation for one night. The food was aweful, I sent it back twice and landed up not eating; the meat and the veg was overcooked and the potatos smelled like fish.To top it off, the bedroom main light was not working and I was told sorry but there was nothing they could do. Surely at an amount of R760 for one person for one night, the light would at least be working!This is by far the absolute WORST accommodation I have ever stayed at, and been literally RIPPED off by this so called establishment.If you want a disaster of accommodation, by all means stay at this complete failure of a bed and breakfast! I will never recommend Rita and I will be informing every person I know not to waist their time and money booking there! I am beyond words with anger! My parther and i stayed for two night and we never had any hot water. so much so we were asked to shower in Room 19 from Room 29. which also had no hot water.

If you need a place to sleep for a few hours at night, it is ok. The rooms are not as clean as they should be! The reception people need to make an effort to at least look friendly and welcoming.
