Palmgrove is a self-catering guest house situated in the popular Uvongo just a few kilometres to the beach, a step away from a nature reserve and a river. The guest house has five beautiful bedrooms and is the ideal holiday destination.

The five rooms are all spacious, have en-suite bathrooms and bedding is provided. The main bedroom has a large window with amazing view of the forest. Each room has a TV with DStv and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The communal living room has ample seating facing the large flat screen TV with DStv. This area also includes a bar and dining table. Outside guest will have use of the swimming pool, braai facilities and on-site parking. A laundry service is available on request.

Horrible Service and Guest house by

I will never even book at this establishment ever again nor will I refer anyone. As far as I'm concerned this guest house should be shut down. The service is terrible. The helpers have a stinking attitude. We arrived on Thursday the 1st after having confirmed telephonically with the owner Thoko for an extra day on the 5 days booked. She claims we did not do that, upon which I proved to her that we did confirm. She also did not have our 5 rooms available, instead she had 4. She intentionally booked someone in our 1 room for the weekend which was entirely immoral. She also insisted that her prices are R500 and not R450 which was what we paid. She moved us to a filthy guest house which had 4 rooms and one of our couples had to go stay at Palmgrove. We did not want to be separated at all. Her helpers are full of attitude. She said the room was given to another person and thought we would understand. Pathetic Palmgrove - worst experience of my life. We will not be using their services again.

Nice Stay by

We enjoyed our stay in Palmgrove lodge. We book there to attend a friends wedding. The accommodation was clean. Hope to book again next time.

I was like very sceptical when we arrived at Palmgrove but we had a fantastic stay and the young lady in charge at that time was very friendly, helpful, neat and I recommend her to be guest lady at any guesthouse, I don't even know her name, but I just want to say thank you.



Rooms not up to standard, very hot no air condition. Just waist of my money, ill never ever coming back, service very very poor.
