Mumbo island is as beautiful (if not more so) than the pictures! It was a wonderful experience spending 7 days on this eco-wonder of an island. The staff are very attentive and the meals were delicious (albeit a little less indigenous than we hoped for). A paradise where you are not pressured into any activities or social situations, but are always able to do so at your leisure. The tents were a little closer to each other than we initially expected and we did lack the privacy we expected, but it was none the less worth a 5 star rating.

Improvements for future: Solar lighting and geyser in tents. Boardwalks to bathrooms. Mosquito net in tent. Mosquito repellent in tents. Homemade rusks for morning coffee. Evening cruise around island lovely. Enjoyed walks and all very relaxing.
