Living The Breede - Staples House

Staples House is one of those rare finds on the Breede River, a well equipped and functional house with all the bells and whistles you might need with sprawling lawns and a beautiful Lapa at the edge of the Breede River. A large family holiday awaits you !

The house is setup for large groups with plenty of entertainment ? darts, ping pong table, sup, canoe, private slip way & jetty for your boat, two braai areas ? one on the banks of the river & the other at the house. There are large rolling lawns with hammocks swinging from the many trees where you can relax. You can spot all sorts of bird life during the day & star gaze at night.

The space
The house is on two levels:

Level 1:
This is a massive space that has a queen size bed and 2 single beds in it. There is an extra-large shower in the bathroom. This room opens up on to the garden. The access to this is via the stairs off the main deck and not through the house. There is also an outside shower.

Level 2:
Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area (with a fireplace) which opens up on to the deck. There are 3 rooms upstairs: Main room with en suite bathroom. Bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Main bedroom has a tv and a fireplace. This room also opens up onto the deck.

Double room which shares a bathroom with the bunk bed room. Double room has a queen size bed. The bunk room has 2 bunk beds that sleep 4. The bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and sink.

In the kitchen there is a fridge freezer and a spare fridge under the deck that gives you plenty of space for large groups. For your convenience there is a dishwasher, washing machine and a bluetooth speaker.

There is an outside entertainment area close to the water in the shade and surrounded by trees and reeds. You can enjoy a braai or laze around this area all day hopping in and out of the water or swinging on a hammock.

Jetty ? you have private use of the jetty to tie up your boat, fish and swim off

Slipway ? there is a slip way on my property that you can use. Our neighbors also use it from time to time.

Driveway ? there is ample parking for about 10 cars
