Lake Manyara Ranch Tented Camp

Manyara Ranch Conservancy is situated within the wildlife corridor between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks in Tanzania. It offers a superb wilderness area with an excellent cultural mix for the active visitor to Tanzania. Manyara Tented Camp is located 6 km in from the main turn-off to the ranch. In the heart of Tanzania's northern circuit, the ranch stands apart from the country's National Parks by offering guests a completely exclusive experience in a unique wilderness.

Our six luxury East African style tents provide comfortable and private accommodation, perfectly located for ample wildlife viewing from the tent's deck. The luxury tents feature en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, showers, and flush toilets. The tents are large, with an abundant of natural lighting, are insect-proof, and have electric lighting. The luxury tents offer wardrobes and a chest, which also acts as a safe and a writing desk. All tents are placed under acacia trees for shade and all command panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. In addition, there is a dining tent which includes a bar and a small library.

To help sustain Manyara Ranch, a tourism development programme was initiated which now offers facilities for visitors to experience the wildlife and culture in and around this vital wilderness area. Guests can enjoy a range of activities, some of which are rarely offered elsewhere in Tanzania.
