I have had mixed experiences. Some places look great on a booking website. The reality can be different. I have stayed at Klein Katryn's twice now over a year apart. It is an Oasis of peace and calm. Chantele is a wonderful host and her standards are very high. Both times I stayed, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained. If you are journeying across the Northern Cape on the R27, stop off at Calvinia and stay at Klein Katryn's. You will not be disappointed.
