Kichakani Mara Camp

Kichakani Mara Camp a simple but classic camp nestled amidst the big figs of the Mara. This camp is innovatively conceived, spectacularly on the edge of the expansive Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp offers 20 Luxury Tents.

The tents are spacious with comfortable beds, bedside tables, luggage racks, rags and floor mats and are fully insect and bug proof. The tents have their own flush toilets and en-suite bathrooms with running water and hot showers. They have spacious verandas or decks for outside sitting and game viewing.

The camp is fortunate to have a large reception area with a spacious lounge, where guests can sit and relax as they await room allocation or just unwind between meals and game drives. There is also a well-stocked gift shop where one can find attractive souvenirs to take home. The bar area is also a popular spot for a quiet evening.

The camp is located in the Talek area of the Koiyaki Conservancy on the banks of the Talek River. The river provides a unique boundary between the camp and the park itself. Its tents are amidst large fig trees and croton bushes. With its perfect proximity to the park, game viewing actually starts at the camp.
