Kanniedood Guest House is situated at the foot of the Waterberg mountains, just 15 km outside of Mokopane. The guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a tranquil retreat.

Accommodation is provided in six bedrooms, each equipped with a TV and quality linen, with other amenities supplied. Set in a beautiful garden, guests can enjoy the shade of the trees while reading a book and simply relax with something cool from the bar. Our dining room offers wonderful country cooking, with dinner available on request, and a real English breakfast every morning.

For the more energetic, there is a short mountain trail where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Waterberg mountains and Springbokvlakte. A mountain picnic can also be arranged on request.

Wonderful hosts by

We stayed at Kaniedood guest house last week and can highly recommend it. The room was comfortable, the gardens wonderful, but the real selling point are the hosts, Tienie and Eileen. Very welcoming and friendly and Eileen made us a supper that was so delicious I had to ask for the recipe. Fabulous breakfast the next morning, and back on the road, but if we pass that way again will definitely stay again.

Rooms are great, beds very comfortable. Food is delicious with trouble taken to make it special. Tienie and Eileen are great hosts.

Great overnight stay - comfortable room, friendly welcome. One small thing - there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom - we had to use tissues

Our room was clean and spacious, the owners were friendly and accommodating, and it was a relaxed stay. The garden is well kept. It was a cool and rainy day when we stayed.

Friendly hospitality by

Unfortunately we only had very little time here, as we were on route to Botswana, but we had a very warm; friendly welcome upon arrival and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. The highlight for me as an avid birder was the great birdlife in and around the farm. I would much rather enjoy the nature surrounding of a guest house like Kanniedood, than to stay in a town and miss out. Our short stay was most enjoyable.
